Students of color and those who are immigrants or LGBT face unprecedented levels of bullying and hate speech that pose significant obstacles to their readiness to learn. Such marginalized students can't help but be affected by rising tides of White Nationalism, Islamaphobia, anti Semitism, and similar expressions of intolerance.
