Visions of The Future offers a collection of contemplative surveys of the landscape of the future across the fields of conflict, science, work, selfimage, culture, society and economy. The volume stem from the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation projekt Forum Axess. Some of the texts stem from the Engelsberg Seminar 2000, others from the conference ”Towards a Global Society?” which was arranged in 2002 by the Axel and Margaret Ax:son Johnson Foundation, The Stockholm School of Economics and the Swedish business magazine Finanstidningen.
