The year is 1922 and young Dani Creppuscio, the son of a respected Mafioso, finds himself in the midst of a bloody interfamily conflict in his native Sicily during the prelude to a time of great upheaval of time-honoured ways as the Fascist government of Benito Mussolini begins its crack-down of the Sicilian Mafia.
