Humour in language : linguistic and textual aspects | 0:e upplagan

The contributors to this volume come from researchers working within different disciplines and different language departments of Stockholm University. They work not only on modern languages, but also on classic ones. What is the nature of humour in language? That was the question we asked ourselves and our colleagues. Of course humour is represented by numerous authours across different time periods and across all modern languages, but it can also exist unintentionally as this volume shows.
